LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James has been chosen for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has scored 10,000+ points in rebounds, assists, and points during his professional career, in 2022. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. National media touted James as a possible NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of 2003's NBA draft. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly established himself as one of the top league players, and won the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to join with the Miami Heat this was announced in the television program The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions throughout sports history.
