Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American singer and actress began with humorous rap tracks dealing with issues related to race and sexuality. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood after she released an album of raps. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was through the trumpet. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop education began when she was in her teens. When she was in college, she focused on her studies. She majored both in women's study as well as journalism. While she was for a brief amount of time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were offered as well. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she shifted her focus to music. The My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and eventually appeared on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. The album also contained viral hits including body-positive Queef & winking home tour NYC Bitche$1. The latter song was linked directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. The singer decided to make a career as an actor following the completion of her previous two endeavors, author and musician. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors to Storks. In the year 2018, she was offered a series of notable roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her debut EP "In Fina We Trust".
